Skylar hasn't written a general email in a couple weeks, but this is part of his emails from this week that I can share with everyone. I do know that he's staying busy, still loving Blackburn, and working really hard. He's still in a trio, which is a bit trying at times, but in general the three of them are working together to be a good team. Peter was baptized a couple weeks ago, and they are still working with Robbie's (a recent convert) girlfriend who's been taking the discussions. That's all the update I can think of to share with you for now, so enjoy!

Recently there has been a new set of Doctrine and Covenants DVDs. There is on the DVDs two parts about Emma Smith.
"An Elect Lady" and "Emma Smith Follows the Counsels of the Lord". Find a missionary and ask them if they have these DVDs or find someone who does. Announce it in Priesthood, RS, primary, somewhere and find these DVDs and order some for the family it is $4.50...cmon. Anyways, There is a lot of good things in these DVDs and I haven't even scratched the surface with the copies in my companionship but I have watched most of the video clips during times at the chapel over the last month.
Emma Smith counsels Joseph Smith with these words after he is "feeling the pains of a damned soul" when the 116 pages were lost. I think this is something we all must keep in mind with our mistakes.
"No amount of sorrow will make things right. Only the Lord's Love can do that...if we let him."
May we all let the Lord's Love into our lives in greater degrees whether that means opening the shutters and curtains that are blocking it altogether or simply spraying our windows with windex so that we may see a little clearer his outstretched arms.
